Mee-Noi Van De Elizieeshof from Kennel de Elizieeshof in Holland, grew up in the heart of Texas.  He was our first show Saint.  His mild temprement and quick intelligence made it easy to train and love this boy.  I will always be grateful to Bep Dijk of Kennel de Elizieeshof for sending him to us.

Sadly, we had to say goodbye to our beloved Mee-Noi on July 14, 2009.  We so miss the way he loved us and his gentle good manners.  While we were still grieving for him, we recieved news that his son that we had sent to a show home in Moscow, Russia, had won the honor of Best Puppy at the Saint Bernard Club of Russia, went on to win Best Jr and has now won Best Saint in Russia!  He resembles his sire a great deal, and the way they discribe his sweet personality, we know that Mee-Noi lives on in his son Swisstar's Davey for Haus Stessi.  He also lives on in our hearts. Swisstar's Dandy, also son of Mee-Noi, lives with us and took his first major at 13 mo. In the picture below, Dandy is beneath Mee-Noi's tail.
Davey and brothers check out Dad, Ch Mee-Noi V D Elizieeshof
Davey arrives in Russia and finds out what snow is!  This is sure different from Texas!
At 9 mo of age, "Swisstar's Davey for Haus Stessi" is Best Puppy at the Saint Bernard Club of Russia, 2009.  Congradulations!  Like father like son, we expect great things from this boy!
When he was 2 years old, he became number 22 on the AKC  Top 50 list, before we stopped showing him.  We feel he could have done a lot more if he were not limited by our resources.
September 6, 2009, Davey showed in the Jr class for the first time and took Best Jr & Best of Breed!  Again we have had news that on November 22, 2009, Davey again took Best Jr and has earned the title of Junior Champion of Russia!  Way to go Davey!
Swisstar's Dandy Lion is pictured here taking Best Puppy in the NTSBC B Match at 11 mo old.  He is the son of Ch Mee-Noi that we kept from his litter.  In the picture of Mee-Noi & his sons above, he is the one sitting underneath his sire's tail.  We recently have started showing Dandy in local, shows.  He is 13 mo now, & has 2 single points and one major so far.  He is as gentle, sweet & intelligent as his sire, and we feel so fortunate to have him with us.  We would have kept more than one, if we had known Mee-Noi would have only one litter.  We hope to keep Mee-Noi's great qualities alive through his son.
